Terms of Service

1Agreement and eligibility

By selecting the acceptance control, you accept these Terms and separately confirm that you are at least 16. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement. Mandatory consumer and other statutory rights that apply where you live are not waived by these Terms.

2The service

Ohlim is a global nutrition and calorie-tracking application offering a food diary, calorie and macronutrient estimates, recipes and catalogues, personalization, progress tools and optional Health Connect integration. Features may change and can depend on plan, platform, region, configuration or provider availability.

3Not medical advice

Ohlim is not a medical institution or medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease. Nutrition targets, BMI, BMR, TDEE, calorie and macronutrient figures are estimates for general information and self-tracking, not a substitute for a physician, registered dietitian or other qualified professional.

Seek professional advice before relying on Ohlim if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have an eating disorder, severe allergy or another health risk. For an emergency, contact local emergency services; do not use Ohlim as an emergency service.

4Food accuracy and allergens

Food values may come from USDA-derived datasets, Open Food Facts, manufacturers, imported catalogues, users and moderation. Entries can be incomplete, outdated or wrong; portions and formulations vary, and a barcode match does not guarantee accuracy. Check the package and official manufacturer information when accuracy matters.

Allergen and dietary labels are not a guarantee of safety. A person with a serious allergy must not rely solely on Ohlim and remains responsible for the final decision to consume a product, subject to rights that law does not permit these Terms to limit.

5Account responsibility

Provide accurate account information, protect the OAuth account, device and Ohlim sessions used for access, do not share access, and contact Ohlim through the public support form if compromise is suspected. You are responsible for activity through an active session to the extent permitted by law. Account Security can end current, individual or all Ohlim sessions; this does not sign you out of Google or Apple.

6Acceptable use

Do not use Ohlim unlawfully; scrape or attack the service; bypass Premium, access or security controls; upload malware; infringe third-party rights; disclose another person's private data; submit deliberately false or dangerous nutrition information; interfere with the service or API; or reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Good-faith security research is not prohibited, but it must avoid privacy violations, disruption, destructive testing and premature disclosure. Report vulnerabilities responsibly through the public security contact form.

7Your content

You retain rights in your content. You grant Ohlim a limited licence to store, process and display private content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. This is not a broad licence to exploit every private photo.

For content you submit for a shared catalogue, you grant Ohlim a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, moderate and distribute it within Ohlim and related catalogue operations. You confirm you have the required rights. Ohlim may reject, correct, hide or remove a shared submission. Private evidence is not public automatically; after account deletion an approved catalogue result may remain only without account attribution. Moral and mandatory rights remain where they cannot lawfully be waived.

8Third-party services

Ohlim may depend on configured Google OAuth, Apple OAuth only where enabled, Android Health Connect, Firebase Cloud Messaging, hosting services and external food catalogues such as Open Food Facts. Their availability and handling are also governed by their own terms. Ohlim does not control those providers, but these Terms do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9Premium and future payments

Some functions may be labelled Premium and their access is controlled by current configuration. No price, billing cycle, renewal, refund or active store-purchase promise is made in these Terms because a production payment system has not yet been launched. Before payments are enabled, applicable purchase terms, prices and store disclosures must be published; purchases through a store will also follow that store's billing rules.

10Availability and changes

Ohlim uses reasonable efforts to provide the service, but maintenance, outages, defects and updates can occur. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued, and uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised. A material Terms change requires explicit reacceptance and does not retroactively remove mandatory rights already accrued.

11Suspension and termination

Ohlim may restrict or suspend access for a security risk, abuse, a Terms violation, legal requirement, or threat to users or the service. Where reasonable, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue may be given; immediate action may be necessary for security or law. You may stop using Ohlim, sign out or permanently delete your account.

12Intellectual property

The Ohlim brand, software, interface and original materials are protected by intellectual-property law. Rights in third-party datasets and materials remain with their owners. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the service for ordinary personal purposes and do not transfer ownership of Ohlim.

13Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ohlim is provided without implied warranties of absolute accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular personal outcome or absence of every error. This does not exclude mandatory consumer warranties or any right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

14Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ohlim is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the service, or for a decision based solely on an unverified estimate or catalogue entry. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or mandatory statutory and consumer rights.

15Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for reasonable losses and claims arising from your unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or content you had no right to submit. This does not make you responsible for Ohlim's own negligence or conduct, and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.

16Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Before filing a claim, the parties are encouraged to use the public Ohlim contact form and try in good faith to resolve the issue. The competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing prevents a complaint to a regulator or consumer authority. These Terms impose no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver.

17General

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues and the provision is adjusted only as far as legally permitted. A failure to enforce is not a waiver. Ohlim may assign these Terms only subject to applicable law; you may not assign your account contrary to the account rules. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control where the law permits. These Terms and referenced policies form the agreement for the service; headings are for convenience.

Version 1.2 is effective 2026-09-06. English is authoritative, while translations are provided for accessibility and yield only to the extent permitted by law. Ohlim is operated under the Ohlim name. Legal, privacy and security inquiries may be submitted through the public Ohlim contact form.
